The Honor of Your Presence by Dave Eggers
This slim 90 page novella is a delight, published in 2023. It caught my eye at the library based on the author. It’s slim size makes it in an easy carry on the subway. Helen is an printed invitation designer living a lonely life. The arrival of her uncle cracks her world open when he suggests that she print an extra invitation, so they attend one of the galas. Life gets more interesting and amusing for both. I wished it would go on a bit longer.
